This is the process of making several different types of yeast. All of these yeasts will create a starter that you will have to maintain. However, if you want to stop culturing the yeast, or the temperature gets too low, you will want to take your yeast starter and dehydrate it. Once dehydrated, you can store the active dehydrated yeast in a dry, dark, and warm place.
